Overview: Accusonic Voice Systems is a company on Long Island that designs, manufactures, and sells sound equipment for military companies. My responsibilities were to create marketing  material and develop strategies for business growth.
Trade Show Marketing
Before I started working at Accusonic Voice Systems there were very few marketing materials that existed. One of my first projects was to create a brochure that highlighted their products. These were distributed at trade shows where our products were displayed and it provided viewers with information to refer to once they left the booth.

Creating this brochure solved two issues. Our most pressing issue was that we did not have any information to physically hand out to any potential clients at events. This made us seem out of date and unprofessional, which was the exact opposite of what we were trying to convey. This simple yet effective piece of marketing material presented our company in a more professional manor , and it provided information potential clients could reference at a later time.
Style Guide
When I arrived to AVS there were some important elements of design that did not exist, elements that were significant to the design process. One of these was a brand style guide. Having used external companies for branding in the past their materials looked like they all belonged to separate companies. Some items that contained their old branding were still being used in client facing meetings. It made us seem disorganized, and that we lacked any identity. How could people know who we are if we didn't even know who we are? That was evident through the lack of design maturity I observed. But that issue was quickly corrected. I developed a creative strategy that solved the problem of low brand awareness and design maturity.
Business Cards
Finally with a brand style guide and refreshed brochures, it was time to focus on business cards. AVS does a lot of face to face work which was why having something like a business card was still necessary for their marketing and sales team. Their goal was to give current and prospective clients a direct form of contact. They wanted to ensure their potential customers knew who they were speaking to. Customer service is a dying industry in some factions of business but it was very much alive at Accusonic Voice Systems which is why business cards were a must! The redesigned business cards aligned more closely to the brand personality and mission of the company.
